We are looking for a fantastic actor to join our existing Father Christmas in London to bring the festive joy to families, schools and offices throughout the Christmas period. We also have the occasional corporate booking (eg office Christmas party) which are more adult themed and involve singing, giving out prizes, hosting quiz etc so we are looking for a confident and charismatic performer. You must have own car as you will be driving yourself from visit to visit. Petrol , congestion charge and parking will be covered by Pippa’s Poppets.

We are looking for male actors, aged 25-60, local to London. You must be a strong improvisor, good singer, love working with children and have a passion for everything Christmas! You will need to memorise various facts and pieces of information about the children ahead of each visit, so you must have a good memory.

You must commit to a minimum of these dates - Dec. 6, 13, 14, 15, 18, 21, 22 & 23.
We are hopeful to be able to add more dates nearer the time depending on demand. If you are successful, you will be required to attend a 2 hour training session in late November (to be arranged nearer the time) as well as an hour’s catch up session in early January 2025 (both in London) for a debrief and to hand back any equipment.

You will be guaranteed a minimum of a half day rate on all of the dates above, ensuring a minimum pay of £800 for all 8 days, however days may be extended to ¾ or full days nearer the time if the company receive enough bookings. Maximum pay for 8 full days £1,360.

London rates:

Half day rate £100, (either 10 a.m.-3 p.m., 1 p.m.-6 p.m., 3 p.m.-8 p.m. or 5 p.m.-10 p.m.)

¾ day rate £140, (either 10 a.m.-5.30 p.m., noon-7.30 p.m. or 2 p.m.-9.30 p.m.)

Full day rate £170, (either 10 a.m.-8 p.m. or noon-10 p.m.)

Training and catch up session paid an additional £40. Note exact timings will be confirmed a few days beforehand.
