Ho, ho , ho!
It’s never too early to prepare for Christmas… We’ve been getting festive here at Headquarters. There’s been Christmas music blasting all day and we even had a visit from THE man himself. Look out for our Christmas content, coming to a social media platform near you!

Summer Social!

Last week we got the team together for our Summer Social! It's been a while since we all saw each other, so we very much enjoyed catching up over a delicious meal, prepared by chef extraordinaire, Grace! There were lots of updates...most excitingly our new t-shirts! We had a lot of fun trying them on and recording some fun videos that you will be seeing on our socials over the next few months. You might even get to hear a sneaky snippet of a new catchy song in the works, written by none other than our brilliant West End Composer and Founder, Pippa Cleary. Wishing our fabulous clients at all our nurseries and family clubs a wonderful summer break, we can't wait to see you all for more learning, singing and dancing in September!
Once Upon a Time…. in Pimlico!

What a perfectly beautiful day for the Young Englands Summer Play! This year, the children re-told some if their favourite stories- including ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’, ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’. The show was filled with well know tunes and lots of Poppet’s original songs! There was a specially written number called ‘Huff and Puff’ which was a huge hit. The children all worked very hard this term with Miss Lizzie and Miss Harriet and it definitely paid off. Everyone performed so confidently! Pippa and Lizzie were lucky enough yo be presented with flowers from the lovely team at Young England. Thanks for another fantastic year of music and drama, see you in September!

Happy New Year Poppeteers! Today was our termly teacher social. We love getting together once a term to catch up with each other, chat through any admin and eat yummy food!
Father Christmas Over and Out!

Ho Ho Ho! What a fantastic Christmas period it’s been. Our Father Christmas has visited more than 50 families, nurseries and clubs this festive season. Thanks to everyone for their wonderful photos and testimonials, we’re so glad you enjoyed meeting the big man himself. Time now for him to hang up his boots for another year and have a well earned rest.

We love helping nurseries prepare for their Christmas Nativities. We had our dress rehearsal at Young England Kindergarten today which was a bit crazy but so much fun! It’s always a bit different performing on a stage for the first time, especially with costumes and sets (and a rather impressive sheep!) but the children are working so hard, we just know the show will be fantastic.
Did you ever wonder….How to Bake a Cake?

Today was show day at Young England Kindergarten! The children have been working so hard all term with Miss Harriet and Miss Lizzie, learning songs from their bespoke Mini Bake Off Musical. Pippa’s musical The Great British Bake Off was playing in the West End until May but, for those who missed it, there was a very special version of it performed today.Miss Pippa and Miss Lizzie arrived to help the children warm-up and feel ready to perform, we all got in our places and then it was Showtime. With Miss Lucinda and Miss Lucy guiding the way as the presenters, our mini bakers introduced us to the famous Bake Off tent, explained how a cake is made, waved goodbye to contestants who didn’t quite make it to the final, and created a showstopper in honour of King Charles’ Coronation. It’s safe to say the audience was pretty impressed too. 5 stars!
Ready For Big School

It’s nearing the end of term and most of our older groups have been practising for their leaver’s concerts. At Pippa’s Poppets we offer a selection of original nursery graduation songs, guaranteed to bring tears to your audiences’ eyes as they watch their little ones get ready for big school.
