Did you ever wonder…How to Bake a Cake?

Today was show day at Young England Kindergarten! The children have been working so hard all term with Miss Harriet and Miss Lizzie, learning songs from their bespoke Mini Bake Off Musical. Pippa’s musical The Great British Bake Off was playing in the West End until May but, for those who missed it, there was a very special version of it performed today. Miss Pippa and Miss Lizzie arrived to help the children warm-up and feel ready to perform, we all got in our places and then it was Showtime. With Miss Lucinda and Miss Lucy guiding the way as the presenters, our mini bakers introduced us to the famous Bake Off tent, explained how a cake is made, waved goodbye to contestants who didn’t quite make it to the final, and created a showstopper in honour of King Charles’ Coronation. It’s safe to say the audience was pretty impressed too. 5 stars!
